New Home Maintenance Quality Assurance tools for Supported Living, Group Home, Group Training Homes, and State Operated Living Alternatives providers

Did you know that regular housing inspections and routine maintenance can reduce the number of major home repair incidences, resulting in less housing maintenance costs over time?

DDA developed a tool to help providers implement general maintenance programs. The purpose is to maintain adequate housing in good operable condition for individuals in residential services. An effective program requires a well-defined maintenance policy, short and long-term planning, and adequate management response.

An effective maintenance program will result in decent housing and comfortable living environments for residents. It will also minimizes costs to residential agencies and landlords. In addition, such a program will improve compliance with all governing codes, rules, and contract obligations.
