According to DOH, the majority of people at risk of exposure to COVID-19 is thought to be low. While widespread circulation is not happening in most at this time, epidemiologists warn that this could change rapidly and the mortality rate for COVID-19 is much higher than that of the common flu.
It is imperative that long-term care and community social-service providers establish and implement clear precautionary and containment measures to help reduce the spread of this virus as soon as possible.
