Preproposal statement of inquiry (CR-101)

WSR 19-12-086 on WAC 388-823-0500

DDA is considering amending this rule to expand the list of professionals from whom DDA accepts a diagnosis of autism.

Rule adoption order (CR-103P)

WSR 19-12-088 on WAC 388-825-091 and 388-837-9010

This amended rule and new rule are necessary to comply with federal Medicaid law and receive federal funding. The changes clarify the care provided at residential habilitation centers by cross-referencing the level of care for nursing facilities under WAC 388-106-0355, and by incorporating language
from CFR to describe active treatment services in intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICF/IIDs).
