New Background Check System Training

Dear providers and staff who administer background checks,

If you do not administrate background checks currently, please disregard this notice.

The new online DSHS Background Check System went live June 26, 2018. Targeted training sessions are being offered based on feedback, questions and customer concerns.

Upcoming Training Webinars:

The training webinars will review Background Check System processes associated with the user group indicated below. Each session will run 60 minutes.

Training Dates:

  • 12:30 p.m. July 20 - Account users and submitters
  • 3 p.m. July 20 - Account Administrators
  • 8:30 a.m. July 24 - Account users and submitters
  • 10:30 a.m. July 24 - Oversight user
  • 2 p.m. July 26 - All system users

How to participate:

Email the Background Check System Implementation Lead with the date and time of the session you plan to attend. Register at least three hours before the session you wish to attend. After registering, you will receive a meeting notice with information for attending the session.
