Supported Living & Group Home Interview Results

In 2017, Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) conducted interviews as part of measuring the quality of residential services.  A random sample of 351 individuals receiving supported living and group home services were asked questions relating to their satisfaction and experience.  A similar survey was sent to a sample of guardians for people receiving supported living and group home residential services.

The results will be used as a satisfaction benchmark with residential services.  Residential agencies can request that DDA Residential Quality Assurance staff interview a sample of people they support to see how they compare to the benchmark.  Residential Quality Assurance staff will also measure the impact of residential services by working with individuals and their guardians.  The individual interview tool is organized into sections that correlate with DDA’s guiding values.
