ProviderOne payment schedule changes

Juneteenth Holiday will impact this week's ProviderOne payment

In observance of Juneteenth, state offices will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, June 19, 2025. As a result, provider payments for this week (June 16, 2025) will be made on Saturday, June 21, 2025 including the delivery of Remittance Advices (RAs).

State Biennium End and Independence Day will impact week of June 30, 2025 ProviderOne payment

Due to the timing of the State Biennium End and the observance of Independence Day, provider payments for the week of June 30, 2025 will be delayed and made the following week on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Remittance Advices (RAs) will also be made available on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Normally payments and remittance advice documents would be available for providers on Friday, July 4, 2025, but must be moved due to the Biennium End and the holiday.

Claim submission deadlines have been updated as reflected below to ensure that providers are able to receive payment and Remittance Advice documents on July 8, 2025:

The deadline for submission of claims to ProviderOne in order to receive payment on July 8, 2025 will be extended to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Payment and claims submission deadlines for the week of July 7, 2025 will not be impacted. Two payments will be made during this week.

Updated billing guides available

Updated ProviderOne billing guides are now available on the ProviderOne for Social Services webpage. DSHS and HCA have consolidated the previous 16 social services billing guides into 4 guides with step-by-step directions on how to view social service authorizations, how to submit and adjust social service claims, how to view and track payments, and more:

*The Submitting and Adjusting Social Service Claims Guide and the Viewing Claim Status and Payments Guide contain attachments. To view the attachments, you must download and save the guide as a PDF.

Rate changes effective July 1, 2025

Based on the budget passed by the Legislature, some provider rates will change effective July 1, 2025. For more information, please refer to the following bulletins:

How will this impact my business and my clients?

When a change is made to an authorization (i.e., a rate change has occurred), you should receive a ProviderOne notification alerting you of a change. For step-by-step directions on how to view your clients' authorizations and the associated rates, as well as how to view the history of a particular authorization to see what has changed, please see the Getting Started and Billing Essentials Guide.

If you have authorizations impacted by these rate changes and the new rate has not been updated on your ProviderOne authorization list by July 1, please contact your client's authorizing case manager before you submit claims for services delivered in July.

Monthly FAQ: How do I sign up to receive my payments electronically (direct deposit)?

Directions on how to sign up to receive your payments electronically (direct deposit) can be found in the Getting Started and Billing Essentials Guide. After signing up for direct deposit, don't forget to click on the 'Final Steps' button in ProviderOne to submit the changes to the Health Care Authority (HCA).
