Welcome to latest edition of the I-405/SR 167 Program newsletter, where we provide regular updates about impactful construction along the corridor.
Travelers can look forward to a break from major closures on I-405 this weekend. The only planned impact is an overnight ramp closure on westbound SR 522 in Bothell on Saturday night, as part of the I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project. Looking ahead, the I-405/Northeast 132nd Street interchange in Kirkland will also close nightly beginning Monday night, Oct. 26 through Thursday night, Oct. 29.

Westbound SR 522 to northbound I-405 ramp closure in Bothell, Oct. 24-25
Crews will close the westbound SR 522 on-ramp to northbound I-405 from 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 to 7 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25. A signed detour will be in place.
When the ramp reopens, traffic will be shifted east of the I-405/SR 522 interchange. This shift will open space to continue widening I-405 through the interchange as part of the I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project.

Crews working for the City of Kirkland will install speed cushions and adjust signage on Northeast 132nd Street to encourage traffic calming.
