Weekend-long eastbound I-90 lane and ramp closures in Bellevue planned Sept. 11-14
BELLEVUE – The first of two consecutive weekend lane and ramp closures along eastbound Interstate 90 in Bellevue are planned Sept. 11-14 for highway bridge repairs.
Signed detours will guide people around ramp closures, but people traveling through the area should expect delays on eastbound I-90 and nearby city streets.
Closure details
The following closures are planned around the clock from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14:
- Two right lanes and two collector-distributor lanes on eastbound I-90 between Bellevue Way Southeast and just east of Factoria Boulevard Southeast
- Northbound and southbound I-405 ramps to eastbound I-90
- Bellevue Way Southeast on-ramp to eastbound I-90
- Eastbound I-90 off-ramp to Factoria Boulevard Southeast
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will make repairs to the eastbound I-90 bridge over Richards Road the weekends of Sept. 11-14 and Sept. 18-20. Three left lanes of eastbound I-90 will close the weekend of Sept. 18-20.
This work supports a project that repaved nearly 2 miles of eastbound I-90 in Bellevue. Construction is expected to finish in October, pending favorable weather and site conditions.
