Weeknight lane, ramp closures along northbound I-405 in Bellevue, Kirkland resume Tuesday night, Sept. 8
BELLEVUE – Another week of overnight lane and ramp closures on northbound I-405 begins Tuesday night, Sept. 8, for crack sealing and pavement repair.
Signed detours will guide people around ramp closures each night, and delays are possible on mainline I-405 traveling near each work zone.
Closure details
The following closures are planned from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning unless noted:
Tuesday and Wednesday nights, Sept. 8-9
- Three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 12th Street and Northeast 70th Place
- Two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 112th and 140th streets
- From 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning, the eastbound and westbound SR 520 on-ramps to northbound I-405
- The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 124th Street
Thursday night, Sept. 10
- Three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 100th and 145th streets
- Northeast 128th Street express lane on-ramp to northbound I-405
- Northbound I-405 express lane off-ramp to Northeast 128th Street
This work is part of a regional project making pavement repairs at more than 70 locations in King, Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties. These roadway improvements extend the life of the roadway and improve the driving surface.
