Three nights of maintenance paving planned on SR 20 in Burlington starting Sunday, Aug. 9
BURLINGTON – Three overnight maintenance paving projects are planned in Burlington on State Route SR 20/North Cascades Highway starting Sunday, Aug. 9.
What to expect
- From 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, the eastbound lane will close and traffic in both directions will alternate with flaggers near North Section Road (MP 61) in Burlington.
- Nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday, Aug. 10, until Wednesday morning, Aug. 12, the westbound lane will close and traffic in both directions will alternate with flaggers near Vista View Drive (MP 62) just east of Burlington.
This work needs dry weather, and one or more nights may be rescheduled if rain is forecast.
People traveling in the area should plan for delays, use caution in the lane reduction and do their part to keep the road crew safe by slowing down and removing distractions.
