Overnight SR 525 lane and ramp closures in Lynnwood continue June 22-26 for striping
LYNNWOOD – People traveling in Lynnwood and Alderwood should plan for another week of overnight closures on northbound and southbound State Route 525 and multiple ramps near the Interstate 5/I-405 interchange starting Sunday night, June 22.
What to expect The following closures begin at 10 p.m. Monday, June 22, and Tuesday, June 23, and reopen at 4:30 a.m. the next morning:
- Alderwood Mall Parkway on-ramp to northbound SR 525.
- Northbound I-5 off-ramp to northbound SR 525.
- Northbound SR 525 between Alderwood Mall Parkway and SR 99.
The following closure begins at 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, and reopens at 4 a.m. the next morning:
- Southbound I-5 off-ramp to southbound I-405.
The following closures begin at 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, and reopen at 4:30 a.m. the next morning:
- Northbound SR 99 off-ramp to southbound SR 525.
- Southbound SR 525 between SR 99 and Alderwood Mall Parkway.
- Southbound SR 525 off-ramp to Alderwood Mall Parkway.
- Southbound SR 99 off-ramp to southbound SR 525.
The following closure begins at 10 p.m. Thursday, June 25, and reopens at 4:30 a.m. the next morning:
- Southbound SR 525 between Alderwood Mall Parkway and I-5.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will stripe and repair the roadway as part of the SR 525/I-405 Interchange to SR 99 Vicinity – Paving & ADA project. This work repaved roughly 2 miles in both directions of SR 525 from the I-405 interchange to just south of 148th Street Southwest, as well as eight ramps in the area.
Drivers should expect delays and follow signed detours or use alternate routes. This work depends on dry weather and may be rescheduled.
