Westbound SR 522 at I-405 closed overnight for ramp removal in Bothell, Feb. 20-21
BOTHELL – Crews will close westbound State Route 522 at Interstate 405 overnight Feb. 20 to start ramp removal work. This closure is the first of four weekends of work required to take down a ramp over I-405 and SR 522 to open the center of the interchange so crews can widen I-405 and continue construction on the I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project.
Closure Details
Westbound SR 522 at the I-405 Interchange will be closed overnight starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 until 6 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21. Crews will start closing lanes as early as 8 p.m. A signed detour will be in place.
Detour routes cannot accommodate normal traffic volume, so travelers are advised to “know before you go," travel during off-peak hours or, if possible, delay discretionary travel to help minimize backups.
