Southbound I-5 lane closed for maintenance Jan. 7, near Mount Vernon 

MOUNT VERNON– The left lane of southbound Interstate 5 between Starbird Road (milepost 218) and just north of State Route 534/Conway (milepost 220) will close for maintenance 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, near Mount Vernon.

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will perform road survey work in the median during the closure. People should slow down and watch for workers during the lane reduction.
