Bridge strike closes two northbound lanes of SR 167 at 3rd Ave until further notice
PACIFIC – Two northbound lanes of State Route 167 at 3rd Avenue are closed following a bridge strike today in Pacific, Tuesday, Sept. 23, that caused damage to the structure.
Bridge inspectors have advised the closure of the two left northbound lanes until further notice while they analyze the damage and determine the next steps.
The southbound lanes on SR 167 will remain open.
The bridge was last inspected in May 2025.
