I-5 Smokey Point rest area dump stations to close June 4-5 for scheduled maintenance
ARLINGTON – The RV dump stations at the Smokey Point rest areas on both directions of Interstate 5 will close Wednesday and Thursday, June 4 and 5, for scheduled maintenance. The rest areas will remain open during the dump station closure.
Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close the northbound dump station first, beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 4. Once work is finished, crews will shift to the dump station at the southbound I-5 rest area.
One dump station will always remain open during this maintenance. Dump stations at the northbound and southbound rest areas are scheduled to reopen no later than June 5.
