SR 513/Montlake Bridge and SR 520 ramps in Seattle closed Saturday, May 3
SEATTLE – Both directions of State Route 513/Montlake Bridge in Seattle will be closed to all traffic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 3, for the 2025 Opening Day of boating season. The westbound SR 520 off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard and the left turn lanes on the eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard will also close during this time.
Washington State Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews will keep the Montlake Bridge open to boat traffic during the event.
Local access will be maintained for people living south of the Montlake Bridge. People will be able to travel southbound only on Montlake Boulevard but can still access SR 520 or Interstate 5. People should plan for alternate routes and expect delays around the Montlake Bridge.
