IRT and WSP will be available for one-on-one interviews. Tours of the Transportation Management Center will also be available.
Important information: Please email Aisha Dayal to RSVP and coordinate individual interviews.
Additional information: In 2024, there were 1,607 reported work zone collisions and a 36% increase in serious injury collisions within a work zone from 2023 and 2024 in Washington. Work zone safety is important not just to WSDOT's workers, but to all people using the roads. Nearly 96% of people hurt in work zone collisions are motorists, their passenger(s) or pedestrians. A fact sheet has additional information on work zone collisions. Everyone needs to do their part in work zone safety and ensure we all get home safely.
