Southbound I-5 lane and ramp closures at SR 539 in Bellingham for daytime maintenance, Thursday, April 17
BELLINGHAM – The left lane of southbound Interstate 5 between Bakerview Road (milepost 258) and Sunset Drive/State Route 542 (milepost 255) will close from 3:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 17 to replace a sign over the freeway. The Washington State Department of Transportation crew will also close the southbound I-5 on-ramps from Northwest Avenue and SR 539/Guide Meridian.
People traveling in the area should expect delays and do their part to keep the road crew safe like driving slowly and removing distractions.
