Expect nighttime lane, partial ramp closures at I-5/41st Street interchange Friday, March 28, in Everett
EVERETT – Access between Interstate 5 and 41st Street will be limited Friday night, March 28, as portions of the freeway on- and off-ramps will close in Everett. The center turn lanes between eastbound and westbound 41st Street also will close from 10 p.m. Friday, March 28, to 4:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29, but portions of the on- and off- ramps will remain open.
During the work, a single lane of both directions of 41st Street will remain open, but these ramps will close:
- The eastbound 41st Street on-ramp to northbound I-5. People should access northbound I-5 from westbound 41st Street.
- The westbound 41st Street on-ramp to southbound I-5. People should access southbound I-5 from eastbound 41st Street.
- The southbound I-5 off-ramp to eastbound 41st Street. People will exit southbound I-5 to westbound 41st Street.
- The northbound I-5 off-ramp to westbound 41st Street. People will exit northbound I-5 to eastbound 41st Street.
During the lane and partial ramp closures, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will perform signal work above the closed lanes. People traveling in the area should expect delays.
