WSDOT Travel Advisory: Expect nighttime lane and partial ramp closures at I-5/116th Street NE interchange Friday, Jan. 31, in Marysville

Expect nighttime lane and partial ramp closures at I-5/116th Street NE interchange Friday, Jan. 31, in Marysville

MARYSVILLE – Access between Interstate 5 and 116th Street Northeast will be limited Friday night, Jan. 31, as portions of the on- and off-ramps will close in Marysville. The center turn lanes between eastbound and westbound 116th Street Northeast also will close from 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, to 2 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, but portions of the on- and off- ramps will remain open.

During the closure: 

  • The eastbound 116th Street Northeast to northbound I-5 on-ramp will close. People should access northbound I-5 from westbound 116th Street Northeast.
  • The westbound 116th Street Northeast to southbound I-5 on-ramp will close. People should access southbound I-5 from eastbound 116th Street Northeast.
  • The southbound I-5 off-ramp to eastbound 116th Street Northeast will close. People will exit southbound I-5 to westbound 116th Street Northeast.
  • The northbound I-5 off-ramp to westbound 116th Street Northeast will close. People will exit northbound I-5 to eastbound 116th Street Northeast.

During the lane and partial ramp closures, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will perform signal work above the closed lanes. People traveling in the area should expect delays.
