Eastbound I-90 lane closures scheduled Friday night, Nov. 15, between Seattle and Mercer Island

SEATTLE – Eastbound Interstate 90 will be reduced to two lanes starting at 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, from Seattle to Mercer Island. The lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.

The two left lanes will close, so drivers should expect delays and plan for extra travel time.

Washington State Department of Transportation crews will do maintenance work in the Mount Baker and Mercer Lid tunnels during the lane reductions. This includes winterizing bridge hydrants, cleaning drains and checking fire detection cameras and backup control systems.
