Two ramps at I-90/SR 18 interchange to close overnight Tuesday and Wednesday near Snoqualmie

SNOQUALMIE – Two ramps at the Interstate 90 and State Route 18 interchange will close overnight Tuesday and Wednesday nights, Oct. 1-2, near the city of Snoqualmie. A lane on a third ramp will close early Thursday, Oct. 3.

Contractors working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will use the closures to install barriers, add striping along the ramps and stabilize slopes with seed and compost as part of the I-90/SR 18 Interchange Improvements project.

I-90/SR 18 ramp closures
People traveling overnight through the area should expect the following closures:

  • The SR 18 on-ramp to eastbound I-90 from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2.
  • The SR 18/Snoqualmie Parkway on-ramp to westbound I-90 from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, to 12:01 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.
  • The right lane of the eastbound I-90 off-ramp to SR 18 from 12:01 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.

Signed detours will be available for the two ramp closures, using I-90 and looping around at the next exit.
