Southbound SR 99 lane reductions begin Saturday, Sept. 28, for First Avenue Bridge maintenance in Seattle

SEATTLE – Up to two lanes of southbound State Route 99 will close Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28-29, across the First Avenue Bridge in Seattle for routine bridge inspections.

Closure details: 

• From 6 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 28, the two right lanes on southbound SR 99 will close across the First Avenue Bridge.
• From 6 a.m. to noon Sunday, Sept. 29, the left lane on southbound SR 99 will close across the First Avenue Bridge.

People should plan for added travel time.
