I-5 Custer rest areas closed Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 21-22, for septic maintenance
FERNDALE – The Custer safety rest areas along northbound and southbound Interstate 5 are closed from 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, to 8 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, for routine septic maintenance.
During the closure, the closest open rest areas along northbound and southbound I-5 are at Bow Hill, about 30 miles south. People can find other rest areas on the Washington State Department of Transportation’s website.
People can receive real-time roadway information via the WSDOT mobile app or the real-time travel map.
