Southbound I-5 the left lane will close for guardrail repairs, in Bellingham, Friday, Aug. 16
BELLINGHAM – People traveling southbound Interstate 5 in Bellingham should expect a mile-long lane closer.
From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the southbound I-5 left lane will close from Lakeway Drive (milepost 253) to South Samish Way (milepost 252) to allow Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews to safely perform guardrail repairs. People should plan for additional travel time.
People can receive real-time traffic information from the WSDOT mobile app, the real-time travel map.
