“Beat the Bridge” event this Sunday morning will close Montlake Bridge and westbound SR 520 off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard

This year’s “Beat the Bridge” event will take place from 7:30 to 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 19.

To accommodate the event, the Montlake Bridge will be closed to all vehicle traffic during this time. Additionally, the westbound off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard and the left turn lanes at the eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard will be closed.

Drivers using the eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard will only be able to travel southbound or continue east onto Lake Washington Boulevard.

Local access will be maintained as pedestrian traffic clears. People should use alternate routes and expect delays in the area.

This closure is not affiliated with the SR 520 Montlake Project. For more information, please visit the event page.
