I-5 Custer rest areas will close, Saturday, April 13, for waterline maintenance
FERNDALE – The Custer safety rest areas along northbound and southbound Interstate 5 will close from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 13 for routine waterline maintenance. Custer Water Association will flush the water lines at both rest areas.
During the closure, the closest open rest areas along northbound and southbound I-5 are at Bow Hill, about 30 miles south. People can find other rest areas on the Washington State Department of Transportation’s website.
People can receive real-time roadway information via the WSDOT mobile app or the real-time travel map.
