In this update:
Beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, June 2, until 5 a.m. on Monday, June 5, crews will work in multiple areas along Montlake Boulevard between East Roanoke Street and East Hamlin Street and on the new Montlake lid structure. Work will include paving the new westbound SR 520 off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard and installing utilities and a sign bridge foundation. This work will require the following street and ramp closures:
- From 10 p.m. tonight, June 2, until 5 a.m. Monday, June 5, Montlake Boulevard will be closed in both directions between East Roanoke Street and East Hamlin Street.
- All of the SR 520 on-ramps and off-ramps to and from the Montlake Boulevard area will also be closed. This includes the:
- Westbound SR 520 off-ramps to Lake Washington Boulevard and Montlake Boulevard
- Eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard
- Montlake Boulevard on-ramp to westbound SR 520
- Montlake Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound SR 520

The next phase of the SR 520/I-5 Express Lanes Connection Project involves an 18-day closure of the westbound SR 520 off-ramp to East Roanoke Street.
The closure began at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30 and goes around the clock until 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 17. The off-ramp to northbound I-5 remains open.
Crews will continue work on retaining walls at the Roanoke Street off-ramp (and ultimately the ramp to northbound I-5 as well) in preparation for shifting traffic to the north into its final alignment. This will make space for the new flyover ramp the girders were just set for. Check out our latest blog post about those girders and how we accomplished setting them in just 48 hours!
 Drivers will need to take I-5 or alternate routes during this closure.
