In this update:
Northbound East Montlake Place East will be closed between East Louisa Street and Lake Washington Boulevard East from 10 p.m. Friday, March 10, to 5 a.m. Monday, March 13.
 During this closure, crews will install drainage and remove street trees along East Montlake Place East. Drivers, pedestrians, and bike riders should plan for long delays or use alternate routes. See detour map below.
Participate in our next online Montlake Project meeting on March 15 to learn about upcoming construction activity and planned highway closures. We’ll share construction updates about the Montlake lid, a bicycle and pedestrian bridge over SR 520, and the HOV direct access ramps to the Montlake lid.
