SR 520 fully closed over Lake Washington this weekend

Reminder: SR 520 and SR 520 Trail closing over Lake Washington this weekend

SR 520 will fully close in both directions between I-5 in Seattle and 92nd Avenue Northeast on the Eastside from 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 to 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27. The SR 520 Trail across Lake Washington also will be closed.

During this weekend’s closure, crews will place 30 girders, or support beams, over the highway for a future pedestrian and bicycle bridge. Seven girders will also be added for new HOV ramps that will lead to and from a new 3-acre lid we’re building in Seattle’s Montlake neighborhood. Don’t forget: Toll-bill fees and penalties resume next week

Starting March 1 Good To Go! will resume charging late fees and civil penalties for all unpaid and overdue toll bills.

You have only a week left to handle outstanding bills before you’ll see additional fees. But it’s not too late to deal with those tolls! If you act now, you can save money and avoid fees on future trips – read all about it in the WSDOT Blog.
