Monthly online construction meeting today

It’s not too late to register for the Montlake Project’s online monthly meeting today to hear a construction update and learn about upcoming highway closures. Register below to attend and take part in the Q&A.

Plan ahead! Seattle Marathon coming through Montlake next weekend

This year’s Seattle Marathon routes will run right through the Montlake neighborhood and Montlake Project area on Saturday, Nov. 26. The first race kicks off at 6 a.m. and the event will wrap up in the afternoon.

Here’s what you should know:

  • The event will close the westbound SR 520 off-ramps to Montlake and Lake Washington Boulevard as early as 5 a.m. that Saturday to as late as 4 p.m.
  • The route includes the SR 520 Trail; expect delays and interruptions if you plan to use the trail that day.

Final reminder: Montlake 5K Turkey Trot on Nov. 24

The 7th Annual Montlake Community Club 5K Turkey Trot and Kids Run will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Nov. 24 – Thanksgiving Day. A portion of the racecourse will follow Lake Washington Boulevard East through the Arboretum, so neighbors should expect a temporary closure of the street that morning. Proceeds from the event benefit the University District Food Bank.
