Join us tomorrow for the Montlake Project online construction meeting

Join us for tomorrow’s online meeting to learn about next month’s permanent closure of the Lake Washington Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound SR 520. Our contractor created this temporary ramp for drivers to use during construction. Now we must close the ramp as we continue building a future bicycle and pedestrian bridge over the highway. Register below to attend the meeting and participate in a Q&A.

Date/Time: Wednesday, July 20 at 12:30 p.m.

Join us Aug. 4 for a neighborhood traffic meeting with WSDOT and the city of Seattle

Please join us for a virtual public meeting on Thursday, Aug. 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to learn more about the Portage Bay Bridge and Roanoke Lid Project’s draft Neighborhood Traffic Management Plan (NTMP). The NTMP is a collaborative effort between WSDOT and the city of Seattle that identifies, prior to project construction, planned and potential traffic management measures on local streets.

This online meeting will be co-hosted by WSDOT and the city of Seattle. During the meeting, members of the public will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the upcoming Portage Bay Bridge and Roanoke Lid Project
  • Hear results from our recent, online neighborhood traffic survey (thank you to those who participated!)
  • Find out how to view the draft NTMP report and provide feedback
  • Share your questions and concerns about local traffic issues during construction

The meeting will kick off a two-week public comment period open Aug. 4-19. Community members can share their thoughts about the proposed traffic measures included in the draft report. Register below for the NTMP meeting.

Date/Time: Thursday, Aug. 4 at 5:30 p.m.
