WSDOT Active Transportation Regional News Roundup, July 25, 2019

WSDOT Logo

WSDOT Walk and Roll E-News alternates between news round-ups and a collection of trainings, grant opportunities, project updates, research and resources. We'll include updates on the State Active Transportation Plan in each edition.

State Active Transportation Plan Update

We have an e-news focused specifically on the plan that you can subscribe to. Items in that will be repeated in this e-news; we created it for people who only want to follow the plan's progress.

This summer we're continuing to develop and test tools for analysis of state right-of-way. We'll announce opportunities to engage in open houses and other activities this fall.

WALKING AND BICYCLING IN THE NEWS

List includes links to news stories and blogs/sites that provide ongoing coverage of active transportation. If our searches didn't bring us an article you think we should share, email it to barb.chamberlain@wsdot.wa.gov with the subject line FOR WALK/ROLL NEWS.
