- Allow at least 3 days for order approval from time of submission for accountability checks
- Orders need to be in "Pending State Approval" status in the IIS by close of business the weekday before the processing day
- If there is not enough vaccine in allocation, orders will be reduced based on the Vaccine Allocation and Equity Plan
COVID-19 Vaccine
- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved COVID-19 vaccines for the 2026-2027 season manufactured by Moderna, Pfizer, and Sanofi-Novavax.
- Ordering guidance for 2026–2027 vaccines will be shared as soon as we receive notice from CDC.

Remaining inventory of 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine should continue to be safely stored refrigerated between 36°F and 46°F (2°C to 8°C) - do not discard or attempt to return unexpired vaccine.

The West Coast Health Alliance (WCHA) has issued immunization recommendations for the 2026-2027 respiratory virus season. These recommendations are informed by trusted national medical organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
All vaccines recommended for children and adolescents remain available at no cost through the Childhood Vaccine Program (CVP) for participating provider sites. Providers should continue following current Washington state vaccine guidance. Please encourage patients and families to talk with their health care providers about questions or concerns about vaccinations.

The Respiratory Vaccine Provider Feedback Form is now available on the Respiratory Season Resources section of the CVP webpage. Use the form to provide any feedback, thoughts, or suggestions on the 2026-2027 respiratory season. The form link will remain active throughout respiratory season and can be filled out multiple times.
As RSV season approaches, offer maternal RSV vaccination with Abrysvo starting in September. A single dose is recommended during pregnancy between 32 and 36 weeks gestation. Abrysvo is not recommended if the mother has received RSV vaccine for any reason. If Abrysvo is not given or if the baby is born less than 14 days after Abrysvo is given, the infant should receive an RSV preventive antibody (nirsevimab [Beyfortus] or clesrovimab [Enflonsia]) starting in October. Clinics should start recalling infants born in the spring or summer who will need Beyfortus or Enflonsia for the coming season.
