Vaccine Choice is open for CVP providers from June 1 through July 3, 2026. During this time, you can request changes to the vaccine brands you order for routine childhood vaccines when multiple products are available.
All providers must submit a Vaccine Choice form to select RSV and/or COVID-19 vaccine order sets for the upcoming season.
For influenza vaccine, please rank products in order of preference. Ranking products helps us request vaccine that providers are most likely to use.
Important Reminders
-
Penbraya is only available to providers receiving Trumenba as their MenB vaccine
-
Penmenvy is only available to providers receiving Bexsero as their MenB vaccine
- If a vaccine does not appear on the Vaccine Choice Worksheet, only one brand is available and is included on all order sets
- RSV vaccine for pregnant adolescents is available by special request only
Completed forms should be submitted by email to WAChildhoodVaccines@doh.wa.gov.

On April 23, 2026, the Washington Vaccine Association’s (WVA) Board of Directors approved the 2026-27 Vaccine Assessment Grid (“Grid”), which was finalized by the WVA’s Operations Committee on April 30, 2026. The 2026-27 Grid will be in effect between July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, and was posted to the WVA’s website on May 1, 2026, in both PDF and Excel format. CVP providers are required to update their billing system.
The Grid lists vaccines and immunizations, along with their CPT codes, that are included in Childhood Vaccination Program (CVP) and for which the dosage-based assessment (DBA) process is required. This applies to healthcare providers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators (TPAs). The Grid acts like a fee schedule. Providers are required to submit the DBA with the correct Grid amount based upon date of service when CVP supplied vaccines are administered to patients with private/commercial insurance. Properly submitted DBAs ensure that adequate funds are available to support the state’s continued purchase of pediatric vaccines and immunizations for Washington children under age 19.
For more information on the billing process, please review the WVA Provider Billing Guide. Should you have any questions, please contact us at compliance@wavaccine.org

Since 2024, the Washington State Department of Health's (DOH) Global to Local (G2L) Program has worked to improve health and reduce disparities in refugee and immigrant communities across Washington.
Over the past year, the G2L Program partnered with community organizations and the DOH Office of Immunization to develop the Together for Health Community Health Worker Vaccine Confidence Toolkit. This resource helps community health workers talk with people about vaccines, answer questions, address misinformation, and build trust. The toolkit is designed to support vaccine education and access in communities across the state.
The toolkit can be used by community health workers from all backgrounds and includes guidance for conversations and sharing reliable vaccine information.
The toolkit is available in nine languages: Amharic, English, Marshallese, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. It is offered in both digital and print formats.
Printed copies will be sent to community-based organizations and local health departments throughout Washington. The digital version includes online and printable resources and is available through the Healthier Washington Collaboration Portal.

The Childhood Vaccine Program team at the Department of Health is currently operating with reduced staffing and appreciates your patience as we work through your questions and requests. Please allow us 72 hours to respond to non-urgent inquiries. Sending multiple emails about the same issue may delay response times. We encourage providers to use a single email thread whenever possible.
