Immediate Removal of Telephone Number
Please remove the phone number 833-VAX-HELP (833-829-4357) from any materials you share. If you see this number being used by one of our partners, please ask them to remove it as well.
Although the Office of Immunization previously used this number, it is no longer associated with our agency and is now owned by a different entity. Unfortunately, this entity is attempting to scam or obtain personal information from callers. In at least one instance, a caller was quoted a fee to receive their vaccination record.
Please use the following number instead: 1-866-397-0337.
Thank you for helping us safeguard the public and ensure communities can access reliable, no-cost immunization information. If you have questions or would like to report continued use of the former number, please contact us at OI@doh.wa.gov

ISA Renewals
The DOH provider enrollment team is working to renew the Information Sharing Agreements (ISAs) for organizations participating in the WAIIS. Please check your records to ensure your ISAs are up to date as these agreements expire every 3 years. You may lose connectivity to the IIS if no response is received during our review and cleanup of IIS data.
If you are not up to date, click here to renew your agreement or contact pchoiisa@doh.wa.gov for any additional questions.

IIS Data Quality Tip of the Month
Adding a New Facility to an Existing Interface
Provider Q: I have an interface that sends my EMR data to the WAIIS. We have a new facility opening soon. Will it send vaccine data automatically and do we need a separate ID for that location?
Answer: Each unique facility that is administering vaccines should have its own facility ID specific to that site. New locations can be registered with the Data Quality Team by emailing IISDataQuality@doh.wa.gov. Please include the following information and note that you would like to have the site added to your data exchange interface.
- Facility/Clinic Name
- Facility Address
- Primary Facility Contact Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Estimated date staff will begin using the EMR to capture “live” immunization data
Each new facility must complete onboarding and data validation in our test system before sending data to the IIS production environment. During facility onboarding, it is important to ensure high data quality EMR entry practices are established. Any publicly supplied doses must also be manually added to the WAIIS production system during the testing process. Once the testing is successful, you’ll be approved to submit data for the new site directly to the WAIIS production system. You may need to coordinate the setup and testing with your EMR vendor. Please reach out to us at iisdataexchange@doh.wa.gov with any questions about adding a new facility to an existing interface.
