🚨FMNP Season Starts in 2 Weeks, Ensure Your Vendor Portal Status 🚨
We have almost 400 growers who are fully approved ahead of the start of the FMNP season on June 1. If you have received the welcome letter with your vendor number, please ensure you are able to log into the Vendor Portal (https://vendors.cdpehs.com/).
Please review the Vendor Portal Brochure to ensure you have completed the steps to register in the portal. If there is a step or steps still missing before transactions can take place, there will be a "!" next to the farm name in the portal, pictured below. Once this exclamation mark is gone, you are ready to take transactions.
If you are unable to log into the vendor portal, please contact the state FMNP team at FMNPTeam@doh.wa.gov.
If you have not yet applied in 2025, the links to the applications are here:

Vendor Portal Enhancements- Locations Dropdown Menu
In 2025, the FMNP Grower Vendor Portal has received several key enhancements designed to improve user experience and streamline operations. The biggest one is the ability to now select from the entire list of farmers markets around Washington State that are approved for FMNP. Growers can now select which market from which they are taking transactions to track transactions at each market.
Once growers scan the QR code to begin a transaction, the screen below will appear. This gives growers the opportunity to select the location at which they are selling. The selected location remains the same until manually changed, so growers should verify it's correct for each transaction—especially the first of the day if selling at a different site.
Vendor Portal Enhancements- Adding W9 form
Growers can now upload their W9 form in the Vendor Portal directly. State staff will still need to approve the W9 once it is uploaded, but this is now a step the growers can now complete on their end. After logging into the portal, click on the farm name in blue to open the "Vendor details" page. Click the "Upload W9 Form" in blue and attach the scanned form.
Grower Trainings
We will host one more grower training in English and one in Spanish before the season begins on June 1. This includes an evening training on May 22 beginning at 5:00pm to give growers who are unable to make the 1:00pm training times a chance to attend a live training. We will review the Farmers Market Nutrition Program itself, the transaction process, and new updates ahead of the upcoming FMNP season. All new growers must attend at least one of these trainings.
All returning growers are also encouraged to attend, especially staff who take transactions at the market. There will be time at the end of each training for questions and answers. The trainings will be via Microsoft Teams. The link to those training courses is contained below. For anyone who attended the April training, most of the content will be the same.

Training Videos - Learn in Minutes
The FMNP site has three very helpful and short videos on the electronic FMNP process. Each video is approximately one to two minutes long. This can be shared for quick training needs.

New Market Applications Need Submitted
As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure clarity, consistency, and to ensure compliance with updated federal regulations for the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP), we have made a few necessary clarifications to the current FMNP contract. These updates do not impact your duties or performance expectations as a market manager.
Each market manager should have received an updated market agreement and a summary of the changes. Please complete the steps below.
1. Complete and sign the new Market Application (PDF) for the 2025–2026 contract period.
2. Verify and update your contact information as part of this process.
3. Submit it the completed application to FMNPTeam@doh.wa.gov by May 30, 2025.
4. If you already submitted, thank you so much!

Senior FMNP Updates
We are in the final month before the start of the 2025 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) market season! Many local programs throughout the state have open application periods. As a reminder, all SFMNP participants must apply to receive benefits each year and the $80 benefit must be used between June 1 – October 31 (benefits do not rollover). Here is more information on the SFMNP and how to connect to local programs:

What do Farmers Markets mean to you?
 |
|
As you may have seen, the WSFMA has launched a 2025 Vendor Survey to hear about YOUR experiences at farmers markets and, in particular, with food access programs like SNAP, SNAP Market Match, and, of course, the transition of WIC and Senior FMNP to an electronic benefit. Thank you to the over 250 farmers who have given us your 2 cents. It’s invaluable!
We know you have a ton to take care of in the fields, markets, and on farm. So, we are extra grateful for your time. Programs and policies are a lot better if we know what works for you.
- All information is confidential. It should take about 10 minutes.
- The survey is available in English and Spanish.
-
The survey link is here.
-
Thanks so much to everyone who has already done the survey! ❤️
- We’re working with Arrowleaf Consulting and we hope to have initial results this summer and will be sure to share them with you.
