Dear COVID-19 data user,
As shared in September 2024, DOH will soon perform a one-time archiving of COVID cases created in WDRS prior to January 1, 2023. COVID cases will be moved out of the WDRS Production environment to a separate read-only archive database to improve system performance.
If you require access to this database and haven’t received confirmation via email (sent 3/25/25), please contact lindsay.horn@doh.wa.gov by Friday April 18th.
As a reminder, COVID person, case, and outbreak data will be transferred to the archive database. However, only the COVID case data will be removed from the WDRS Production environment. Person and outbreak data will remain in both the WDRS Production environment and the archive database.
