REVISED: Farmers Market Food Access Currencies
There are currently six different types of currency at farmers markets around Washington state. This is a helpful chart displaying what those currencies are and what is permitted for purchase with each currency.
 
Approval Letters For Vendor Portal Entrance
If you are a new grower or didn't participate last season, you will need to receive an approval letter to gain access to the Vendor Portal. This letter will contain your vendor number, which you will use to register in the Vendor Portal. Once we receive your grower application, CDP Merchant Agreement with a voided check, and W9, we will send you the approval letter.
The letter will also contain instructions for portal registration. Please note that you will not be able to take transactions until you receive an approval letter with your vendor number and complete the registration process in the portal.
We will start sending out approval letters next week to those who have sent in all completed forms.

Farmers Markets Seeking Farmers!
If you or other Washington farmers you know are looking for additional farmers markets to sell this season, there are still openings available at select markets across the state. As you know, farmers markets are a great way to reach new customers, build sales, and connect with your community to grow your farm business.

Regional Farmers Market Food Access Directories - Taking Orders Now!
The WSFMA has partnered with Department of Health, Department of Social Health Services, and SNAP-Ed for many years to print regional farmers market directories. The goal is to help people know where they can use WIC and Senior FMNP, SNAP, and get SNAP Market Match. These directories include any farmers markets that accept FMNP or SNAP (not just WSFMA member markets).
Please see the information below and order directories for your clinics, clients, and market.
