The Power of Providers Initiative from the Washington State Department of Health is hosting a 'Long COVID' webinar from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Friday, January 12, 2024. Dr. Anita Chopra & Dr. Janna Friedly from the University of Washington Post-COVID Rehabilitation and Recovery Clinic will discuss clinical presentations of Long COVID, commonly utilized diagnostic techniques, available treatment management options, and developing management options.
This is a series of peer-to-peer learning opportunities on Long COVID. This series is an equity-driven project to help address disparities in post-COVID-19 treatment access across Washington state by sharing the knowledge of specialists with general practitioners.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize clinical presentations of post-COVID-19 conditions.
- Describe diagnostic techniques most commonly used to diagnose post-COVID-19 conditions.
- Identify available treatment management options for post-COVID-19 conditions, including integrative medicine options.
- Identify and illustrate ongoing research and treatment management options on the horizon.
The Department of Health will record the webinar. Physicians (MDs, DOs), Physician Assistants (PA), Nurses, and Medical Assistants will have continuing education credit opportunities.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Federation of State Medical Boards, the Washington Medical Commission, and the Washington State Department of Health. The Federation of State Medical Boards is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Federation of State Medical Boards designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
