Apple Health immunization reimbursement listening session Friday, October 20th

The Health Care Authority (HCA) will hold a listening session this Friday, October 20th from noon to 1 p.m. to collect and answer questions about immunization reimbursement. If we can’t address your concern during the listening session, we will follow-up with an FAQ document.

COVID-19 and RSV Vaccine Updates Webinar

The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) will be hosting a COVID-19 and RSV Vaccine Updates Webinar on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 12-1pm.

Topics will include COVID-19 vaccine updates and RSV vaccine recommendations for older adults and pregnant persons, as well as nirsevimab recommendations for infants.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe updated COVID-19 vaccine recommendations
  • Discuss RSV vaccine recommendations for older adults and pregnant persons
  • Explain recommendations for the use of nirsevimab in infants
  • Identify relevant resources

Health care providers, pharmacists and pharmacy techs, local public health, and others interested in learning more about this topic are invited to attend. Continuing education is available for nurses and medical assistants. The webinar will be recorded and will be available on our Immunization Training webpage.
