CVP Provider Training Series: Billing & Eligibility

Good Afternoon,

You are receiving this email because you are listed as the billing contact for a clinic enrolled in the WA State Childhood Vaccine Program (CVP). We are reaching out to encourage billing staff to join us for the next Childhood Vaccine Program training on March 16^th at noon. This session will cover how to screen for patient eligibility status, how to bill according to program billing guidelines, and how to submit the dosage-based assessment (DBA) to private/commercial insurers. The information on how to join the training can be found below.  

Submitting the DBA is required for all clinics enrolled in the program when publicly-supplied vaccine is administered to privately insured children. This is the mechanism that ensures we are able to continue purchasing vaccines for these kids who would not be eligible to receive publicly-supplied vaccine otherwise.
