A Big Thank You to POP Volunteers and Members
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the Power of Providers members who volunteered to support Care-a-Van vaccine outreach events at college and university campuses this fall. Due in part to their efforts, nearly 4,500 COVID-19 vaccinations were administered at 30 campus events to date!

In addition to members who supported Care-a-Van campus events, we would like to thank POP member Professor Ajay Mendoza, ARNP, for providing a news release quote on the importance of students getting COVID-19 boosters. Please visit the WAServ web page if you are interested in joining the Department of Health’s (DOH) emergency registry of volunteers for future public health response efforts!
Thank you also to the members of our POP Advisory Group, who give their valuable time to provide guidance and feedback on DOH programs and initiatives. We greatly value the wisdom and expertise you so generously share with us each month.
Finally, we are grateful to ALL the providers who have joined the POP initiative in this collective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts, for all that you do to keep your patients and communities healthy. We are proud to have you as partners.
We wish each of you a wonderful holiday and restful week!
