Dear COVID-19 Vaccine providers,
The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) has recently learned that there is an extremely limited amount of Janssen (J&J) inventory left to order from the Center for Disease Control (CDC). The department sincerely apologizes for this short notice, and any confusion this may cause. Due to this limited inventory, Janssen (J&J) is no longer available to order from the Washington Immunization Information System (IIS), effective immediately.
The Vaccine Advertisement Page in the IIS continues to be an excellent tool for providers to post any excess doses they may have on hand. If providers have Janssen (J&J) doses that are not being used, please post them on the Vaccine Advertisement Page for other facilities to utilize within the community. Please email all questions or concerns to COVID.vaccine@doh.wa.gov.
