  2. Fill out the name of the storage unit the temperature log refers to.
  3. Fill out your provider PIN.
  4. Fill out the month and year this log refers to.

Need Your Order Approved Quickly?

approved

In order to process your order quickly, we must have your monthly reports including your completed temperature logs for the previous month, inventory report submitted in the IIS, and if your clinic is an aggregate reporter your Doses Administered Report submitted in the IIS. Without these reports, we can not approve your vaccine order so please ensure that you submit your reports prior to submitting your vaccine order.

Vaccine Transfers Require Approval First

The vaccine transfer request process has now moved to an electronic process in the IIS, however, we want to remind you that we must approve the vaccine transfer in the IIS before vaccine can transfer between clinics. Please ensure your vaccine transfer request is approved prior to moving any public vaccine.

AAP’s COVID-19 Vaccine Confidence Campaign and HPV Provider Toolkit

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has launched a media campaign encouraging parents to get their children age 12 and older vaccinated against COVID-19. This campaign includes a COVID-19 Vaccine Campaign Toolkit, television and radio PSAs in English and Spanish, social media campaigns, animated science explainers, and videos of pediatricians from around the United States giving testimonials and answering commonly asked questions. The campaign will roll out nationwide, with a particular focus on areas of the country with high rates of vaccine hesitancy.

The Office on Women's Health (OASH) released a provider toolkit titled HPV VAX NOW in Your Clinic: A Guide to Improving HPV Vaccination Rates among Patients Ages 18–26. The toolkit acknowledges the important role that healthcare providers and their staff play in protecting young adult patients against HPV-related cancers with the HPV vaccine.

Update to Vaxelis Manufacturer

Previously the manufacturer for Vaxelis was set up as Merck in the IIS. Most EHRs were set up with Merck Sanofi Pasteur Vaccine Company, or MSP, as the manufacturer.

To eliminate errors or issues with the transfer of data we have updated the manufacturer in the IIS to MSP.

We are currently working through updating inventories to reflect this change. If you cannot receive an order due to an incorrect Vaxelis manufacturer, please let us know and we can adjust the manufacturer for you promptly so you can receive your inventory in the IIS.
