Please be aware that your vaccine delivery may be delayed due to inclement weather across our state and surrounding areas. Our publicly funded childhood vaccine supply is shipped from McKesson in Denver, Colorado so we can experience weather related shipping delays around the western region of the country. Thank you for your patience as your vaccine makes it's way to your clinic.
The Childhood Vaccine Program's annual renewal period begins on March 1st and will go through April 30, 2021. Please see the table below to see when your county is due to renew your agreement to participate in the Childhood Vaccine Program.

To help your clinic prepare for the annual Childhood Vaccine Program renewal period, get started by following the steps below:
1. Ensure your primary and back up vaccine coordinators complete the annual You Call the Shots Training modules:
To receive continuing education (CE) or print training certificates, please visit the TCEO and follow these 9 Simple Steps. Make sure you keep your training certificates on hand as you will need to provide them during site visits.
2. Review and update your clinic's Vaccine Management Plan.
3. Ensure all your vaccine storage unit thermometers have current certificates of calibration within the last 2 years or as the manufacturer requires.
4. Gather your clinic's practice profile data for the prior calendar year which includes the number of children that received publicly funded vaccines by age and eligibility status. If your clinic shares data with the IIS, you can use the VFC Profile Report in the IIS.
5. Gather all the license and NPI numbers for all of your clinic's authorized providers.
If you have all the information ready to go your provider agreement renewal can take as little as 20 minutes to complete.
