Licensing Staff Update and COVID-19 Resources for Nurses

The Nursing Commission is processing a high volume of applications and renewals. Until further notice, licensing staff will not be available by phone. This temporary change will allow licensing staff to focus on renewal and licensing activities only.

If you need the status of your application, please visit Provider Credential Search. When conducting your search, only enter your first and last name because this will simplify your search. 

Once licensing staff review your application, they will notify you by email if additional information is needed. The message will be sent to the email address provided in your application. Please check your email frequently, including your junk and spam folder.

Please be advised, if you choose to call in for assistance, an employee in a different unit of the Nursing Commission will address your call. Nursing Commission staff will not provide you with the status of your application or renewal. You will receive limited information and will be redirected to our website for the information you’re seeking.
