Updates to EAP (Overtime) Exemptions - CR-102 Filing
On June 4, 2019, the Department of Labor & Industries filed the CR-102 (proposed rulemaking) on the draft rule language for updates to the executive, administrative, professional, and outside salesperson exemptions from the Minimum Wage Act. The deadline for submitting public comments on the proposed rule language has been extended to Friday, September 20, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. The original deadline was set for this Friday, September 6, 2019.
The extension of the public comment period does not impact other previously established timelines, and the tentative adoption date of the rules is still scheduled for December 3, 2019.
