The City of Walla Walla is advising residents that construction on the Myra Road South Extension and Howard Street IRRP projects is temporarily on hold due to a labor dispute between the private construction contractors and their employees. The dispute affects multiple job sites across Eastern Washington.
At this time, there is no confirmed timeline for when work will resume. Updates on these projects will be shared as soon as more information becomes available.
We appreciate the community’s patience as the City works to complete these necessary improvements to replace failing utilities, enhance traffic safety, and better connect Walla Walla.
