ORCA CARD

New Low-Income Fare Starts July 1

On July 1, Community Transit and Everett Transit will introduce a new low-income bus fare in Snohomish County. This will allow easier access to transportation for eligible residents whose income falls below 200 percent of the federal poverty level. Riders will need to have an ORCA LIFT electronic fare card in order to pay the reduced fare. More details about how to apply for an ORCA LIFT card will be available at www.communitytransit.org/ORCALIFT in late June.

New Real-time Bus Tool in Development

BusFinder, Community Transit’s web-app for real-time bus information, is being redeveloped. The new BusFinder helps riders locate their next bus with new and improved features, including a map that displays buses in real-time and integrated rider alerts that will let you know if your bus is delayed, off-route or canceled. The new BusFinder also automatically updates information every 30 seconds.

BusFinder is undergoing beta testing this month and will soon be available for all customers.
